Coating Systems and Application

Every project is addressed with a multi-layer coating system specifically designed for the environmental conditions it will face (ISO 12944 corrosion categories C3-C5/CX).

• Zinc-rich primer applications
• Epoxy intermediate coat and polyurethane top coat systems
• Specialized seawater ballast tank coating systems (IMO PSPC-compliant)
• Uniform film thickness application via airless spray
• Dry film thickness (DFT) measurement and recording

Quality Control and Inspection

After application, every coating layer is verified through wet/dry film thickness measurements, holiday testing (electrical continuity/pinhole detection) and adhesion testing. All measurement data is logged into the project quality file for traceability.
